As Editor in Chief, I am responsible for all the ROAR! journalists. I teach English at PHES so, as you would expect, one of my main loves outside school is reading. There really is nothing better! Other interests include animals, running, chatting with friends, and vegetarian food (I don’t like to eat anything that once had a face). Burger King? Give me some sprouted lentils any day!

Hello! I joined the school newspaper to gain a lot of writing experience. I love writing articles, particularly political ones, and saw the school newspaper as a chance to showcase my skills. The new skills I hope to learn are professionalism and confidence; if you see one of your articles published in ROAR, you feel proud of yourself and believe that really, anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Design to PHES students. That is my day job. The rest of the time I am
painting, drawing, doodling, sewing, thinking, building, playing, designing,

sculpting and just generally making stuff.

ReplyDeleteEver since I joined PHES I was always wishing for a school paper. When I heard of 'Roar' I got really excited and I couldn't wait till the first issue came out. When I finally got it, my younger brother stole it from me :( But still I will treasure every issue that comes.
